Thriller Author: Tristian Langstaff

Thriller Author One-Page Demo Site

As an avid reader, I wanted to take a crack at mini author website. I think many authors feel as though they need a full site, when a one-pager will often do the trick — and be so much less to manage.

For this thriller author site, I wanted to lean into a high-contrast color scheme with a bright red contrasted by a dark, ominous blue-green. I also chose a thick, striking sans-serif for the header font, which contrasts with the more literary serif body font. I also designed some book covers for this fictional author (because a website is basically the definition of judging a book by its cover).
